Hybrid ABA combines structured center-based therapy with targeted home-based sessions, giving children the opportunity to build skills in both environments. Families also benefit from hands-on parent coaching embedded directly into home sessions. Our half-day program offers the same high-quality, individualized ABA therapy as our full-day option — in a schedule that works for families who need more flexibility. Children engage in play-based learning, 1:1 therapist support, and structured group activities during their time at our Woburn center. Every session is tailored to the child’s individual goals, pace, and interests. It’s a great starting point for families beginning their ABA journey.

Structured Support for the After School Hours

After School ABA

Our After School ABA program runs from 1 PM to 6 PM, providing a safe and engaging space for children under 6 to continue building skills after the school day ends. Children participate in child-led play, individualized ABA sessions, and structured routines guided by qualified ABA therapists. The program is designed to feel fun and welcoming — not like more school — while still delivering meaningful, goal-focused support. It’s an ideal option for families who need consistent afternoon care rooted in evidence-based practice.

Early Insights Developmental Assessments

Comprehensive developmental assessments and personalized parent guidance for infants and toddlers ages 2 months to 5 years. BCBA-led evaluations covering communication, social, sensory, behavioral, and adaptive skills — with no referral or insurance authorization required. Available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Behavioral Support for Massachusetts Schools

School Partnership Program

First Steps Developmental Services partners with Massachusetts public schools, charter schools, and special education programs to provide Behavior Technician support and BCBA consultation for students with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental needs. Supporting schools during staffing shortages, extended absences, and periods when specialized behavioral expertise is needed.
